Mozambique Fishing Charter
Broadbill is a luxury live–aboard 42–ft Catamaran with 3 double cabins, en–suite bathrooms and air conditioning. This fully catered fishing charter has an 800 nautical mile fuel range. Experienced staff provides a uniquely tailor–made fishing experience or a combination of island hopping and fishing for family and friends. It has an aluminum tender for exploring and fly fishing. Our team will provide you with video camera footage and coverage of the fishing action if you desire.
Broadbill is based at Pemba, the gateway to the Quirimbas in northern Mozambique and can be accessed from Pemba or either our Medjumbe and Matemo Islands. All of these destinations are within reach of the world–renowned St Lazarus Banks fishing grounds.
Marlin
Season runs from September to April, with October to December being peak season.
Sailfish
More prolific between mid–May to mid–October.
Wahoo
Are present all year round with a peak in the early summer months of September to November.
Dorado
Are normally caught from September to April.

Amongst the most common game fish species are:

- Jobfish
This is considered the ultimate challenge – targeting the biggest game fish with the heaviest allowed tackle. Marlin reign supreme as the ultimate quarry, but one can also do battle with species such as broadbill.
